We've Been Promoted!

Yesterday at about 12pm, there was a huge traffic spike to the site. It's happened before but this time it was much more significant. In fact, the traffic came directly as a result of Cheerwine® directly promoting this site! They sent out a status update to the members of their Facebook fan page (all 30,000+, probably including you) about the existence of CheerwineFinder. You can check it out at http://www.facebook.com/cheerwine

I've had a few folks send me some pictures of when they found Cheerwine® in stores. So, I thought I would share a few of them on here.

It's not uncommon to mix a soft drink into some sort of desert. So when it comes to mixing Cheerwine® into a cake, it only seems natural. In fact, if you go to Cheerwine®'s official website, they have a recipe for a 'CheerDevil' cake. A Google search for 'Cheerwine® Cake Recipe' will show several other sites with recipes. But let's assume your baking skills are somewhat lacking. What do you do? Well fortunately, you can buy Cheerwine® cake!
When Did You First Try Cheerwine®?

Do you remember the first time you tried a glass of Cheerwine®? Chances are if you were born and raised in or around North Carolina, you can't. That's because it's so ingrained here. In fact, I remember being able to get it as a fountain drink in my hometown at Wendy's. Whenever I visited, my grandparents always kept a stock of it on hand in their fridge in Salisbury . But for those who weren't so fortunate to have Cheerwine® growing up, do you remember your first time and if so, what did you think?

So, this is the first entry into the blog for Cheerwine® Finder. I promise there will be many more entries to come and hopefully the writing will improve as well! But I just wanted to use this first entry to send out a big THANK YOU to everyone who has submitted an address to the site. I never knew so many places existed across the country that serve Cheerwine®! If I'm in Oregon, New York, Florida, or even Alaska, I know where to go. And now so does everyone! So, again, thanks for taking the time to add addresses!
Also, I know the bottom ad will look kinda goofy overlapping the right side. Once I get more entries, this will be a moot point
